In order to credit our affiliates for each player they refer, we have to be able to link between the players and their referring affiliates. For this purpose we use the tracking feature, which enables us to track the player back to his affiliate by using a personalized link (for online marketing), or a code (for offline marketing). All players that will be redirected to us through your trackers, whether online or offline will from then on be identified as your players, and you will be automatically credited for their transactions. How does it work? Identification When you sign up to the Play89 affiliate program you will receive an identification number, which we refer to as your 'did' - distributor id. Once you have your 'did' you should always use it in your trackers (see below) so We can identify your referrals and credit you accordingly Remember - this parameter is extremely important since will serve as your identification and the identification of your Sub Affiliates and referred players through every interaction with Play89. Trackers All players that will be directed to us through your tracker, whether online or offline, will from then on be identified as your players, and you will be automatically credited for their transactions. Marketing Tracking While we use the 'did' number to track your players, you can use the 'tag1' and 'tag2' parameters in order to learn about the efficiency of your marketing tools. Learning which marketing tools are most efficient can help you improve your marketing strategy and maximize your revenue. For example, if you use two different banners in your site and you want to know how many players came from each one, you can use the Tag parameter by inserting it in your tracking link. Just change the number after the Tag1 to a different number than the default: http://www.play89.com/index.html?did=#&Tag1=#&Tag2=# The details of each banner will be sent back to you in your statistic reports.
